New horizontal "Browse By Category" chips allow viewers to easily select a genre and narrow their browsing experience to the most relevant content. The category landing experience features a new filter which allows users to refine the content displayed by type (All, Movies, Shows). Content is organized into unique rows and surfaces content deeper in the growing catalog.
Artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms are being utilized for content recommendations and ranking. Personalized and trending content rows such as "Movies For You" and "Top TV Series" surface content most important and relevant to viewers.
As we continue to evolve the VOD experience, themed content collections and “spotlights” will be used as a way of emphasizing specific pieces of content.
